Come and bring your dog to walk along the trails and visit Carlisle Family Dog Park. This is an off-leash dog park that has two separate area for Fido to play in. There is a fee to get in, but all the money goes to maintaining the dog park and the equipment. The park is about 30 minutes away from Wind Point, but it is a peaceful park where the dogs are encouraged to interact with their pups and the other dogs in the enclosure. #5 Milwaukee

It is a bit further to come out this way from Wind Point, but it is still less than half an hour to Oakleaf Trail. The great thing about this trail is that Fido gets to exercise his sense of adventure. Rails-to-Trails has taken this old rail line and repurposed it into a beautiful trail that both you and your dog can enjoy safely. There are many access points around the area, and you can easily use the system to get in and around the city. The best part is that you are walking through the same path that the rail system travelled for decades, so you can enjoy a cool piece of preserved history.
