Krepps Dog Park is located within a bigger park, and this area has everything you need for a day of fun. The fenced-in dog park has water, water bowls, benches, shade, and eve toys and agility equipment to entertain your dog. The surrounding park has a playground, a swimming pool, and it is very close to several surrounding trails. If your pooch is well-behaved off leash, there is a creek just a short walk from the park that is perfect for cooling down on a hot day.

University Avenue

The University Avenue area of Morgantown comes by its name honestly: it is right where the city's university campuses and services are located. You will also find Stanley's Spot Dog Park right near the university, and both you and your dog will love this fenced, off-leash park. Stanley's has areas for big and small dogs and there is plenty of seating and shade for two-legged visitors to relax. Just behind the park is a creek many dog park visitors love to take their pup to for a quick dip after they play at the park.

Cassville

Cassville is an area of Morgantown that is home to about 700 people and it is also home to the northernmost portion of the Mon River Rail Trail System, known as Mon River Trail North. This portion of the trail spans six miles and ends when it reaches the Pennsylvania state line. Mon River Trail North is one of the most scenic walks in all of Morgantown and you and your pup will be oh-so-happy you went! The trail is made of compact limestone and it's a great surface not only for walkers, but for cyclists as well as cross-country skiiers in the winter.

Sabraton

Sabraton is another community in Morgantown with its very own access to a perfect trail for dog-walking and exploring! Deckers Creek Trail is a nineteen-mile portion of the Mon River Rail Trail system that is a can't-miss spot in Morgantown! This portion of the trail can be quite challenging as you gain about 1000 feet in elevation throughout the course of the trail. During your walk, run, hike, or bike on this trail, you will come across waterfalls, rapids, and a few local parks. Deckers Creek Trail is also close to several great restaurants in Morgantown if you'd like to grab a bite before or after your adventure.

Uffington

Uffington is a lovely part of the greater Morgantown area, and the Monongahela River runs right through it. There is so much to do outside in this area, and both you and your pooch will have fun exploring it together. One of these excellent spots you'll love exploring is the Caperton Rail Trail. This six-mile portion of the Mon River Rail Trail System is conveniently paved for walking, biking, and rollerblading, and there are countless trees and plants for Rover to sniff along the way. It is also conveniently located close to many of Morgantown's popular shops and restaurants.
