Crofton has two full service veterinary clinics to see to your dog’s every ache and bark!

Crofton Park is the best place to take your dog in Crofton. This park has everything! The pond water feature regularly attracts ducks and geese for feeding (and sniffing from a distance!) There is also a nice path through the park that runs around the pond and through a wooded area. There are picnic tables and everything you need to spend a day soaking up the Crofton atmosphere. Dogs should be leashed in Crofton Park.

Wrap up your day with your pup with a trip to Crofton’s very own Fractured Prune Doughnuts! This fun eatery has made to order donuts, allowing you to create your favorite from over thirty topping options! They also have pet friendly tables outside so you and your pup can enjoy a treat together.

Crofton is a perfect home base for exploring a bustling metro area--or staying in for charms all its own.

Arrowhead Farms Estates in Gambrills is a five minute drive from the heart of Crofton. This neighborhood has plenty of open space, leading to a low population density and room to roam! Bell Branch Dog Park is a must-see destination for the area! It keeps it simple, but really delivers. This woofderful park has plenty of fully fenced in open space for your pup to run. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. Make sure you bring a toy or two with you, since the park is light on play equipment--the biggest draw for most dogs is... other dogs!

Whitemarsh Park in neighboring Bowie’s Somerset district is a great place to take the whole family, and is only eight minutes from downtown Crofton! There’s an excellent playground and picnic area for family reunions and lunches in nature. Your dog is probably going to be more fond of the walking trails! Whitemarsh Park features nature trails that wind in and out of the woods and through a few small water features. Your dog does have to stay on leash in this park, but with the size of this well-manicured park, there is still enough space to tire him out. Bring your own water bowl to make use of the fountains!
