Central Davis
Central Davis has a 2.5 acres off-leash dog park called Toad Hallow, which is an all-grass dog park with plenty of trees and open area for pups to play, socialize and exercise. The John Natsoulas Center for the Arts features an annual dog exhibit with the subject being dogs. They feature glass, clay, wood, oil paint, ceramic, assemblage, multi-medium, wax, metal, and bronze. Central Davis offers plenty of dog friendly lodging options including the Best Western University Lodge, Econo Lodge, and other Airbnb providers. Many local restaurants, including Crepeville and Thai Nakorn, allow dogs to dine with their owners outside on their patios.

West Park
This quaint neighborhood has plenty of shopping close by at Oakshade Town Center. The calming Putah Creek, which can be explored with your fur baby on his leash, is also nearby. Walnut Park, a local, friendly neighborhood off-leash dog park, is located at the north end of Heather Farm Park. The one-acre off-leash dog area is fenced with separated areas for small/senior dogs and large dogs. Parking and restrooms are available nearby, and the park is fully accessible to the disabled. Common Grounds restaurant and La Quinta Inn & Suites are both dog-friendly establishments in the West Park.

Evergreen
The neighborhood of Evergreen is located right off the Vic Fazio Highway and surrounded by plenty of shopping, dining and local parks. Arroyo Park, located next to Patwin Elementary School, has two separate parks, one of which houses the Aspen Greenbelt Off-Leash Dog Area. The other section of Arroyo Park has several walking paths, but dogs are required to be on leash outside of the dog park. Across the highway, the Sycamore Park has an off-leash dog area. Exercise caution because it is not fenced in. However, it’s great way for your well-trained dog to socialize and get some activity.

Woodbridge
Pioneer Park is a beautiful, shaded park next to the Pioneer School in the Woodbridge area. It's considered a great place to take your well-behaved dogs to let them run around off-leash — lots of space, lots of shade. Keep in mind that there is no fence, so it's not a good option for dogs that might run away. If you’re visiting from out of town, or need temporary lodging accommodations, The Motel 6 and Days Inn are dog-friendly. The Motel 6 is conveniently located one block away from Pioneer dog park, a grocery store, and a McDonalds for those traveling on foot.

Lake Alhambra Estates
Lake Alhambra Estates offer a scenic view of Lake Alhambra and has several community parks. Mace Ranch Park has several foot paths that make for a nice walk to Slide Hill Park. This park has an off-leash dog area on the premises; it is a nice open space with a lot of trees to offer shade. Barovetto Park is another off-leash dog park option in the Lake Alhambra area. However, please practice caution because this area is not fenced in, or separated from the rest of the park or street.
