Located in South Weyfield at what used to be the naval aviation base, you’ll find Southfield Dog Park, a perfect place to play with your pup. With two fenced-in areas -- one for large dogs and another for smaller breeds -- your pup is sure to have a blast running themselves wagged after finally getting off their lame old leash. The park is well-kept, but something of a hidden treasure for locals. Not many frequent this park, making it great for your dog’s first park visit. Bring drinking water and waste bags, as well as your trusty collapsible water bowl.

Thorndike Field
Housed in Arlington, a hop and a skip from East Weymouth, you’ll find Thorndike Field, a highly-rated park which contains a massive dog park. Though there are mixed reviews on the gravel substrate, most are positive and say the gravel is easy for pup to prance on.
