Said to be a perfect place for a picnic, filled with rolling hills and sandy beaches where your pup can get their paws dirty, Stodder’s Neck Dog Park is the perfect location to kick off this doggy to-do list. Three sides of this dog park are surrounded by water, and the fourth has a tall rock wall that your pup will have a hard time hopping. There are doggy waste bags provided throughout the park as well as waste bins. Water bowls are also provided, though you should bring plenty of clean drinking water for your pup at this slice of heaven.

With two fenced-in areas -- one for large dogs and another for smaller breeds -- your pup is sure to have a blast running themselves wagged after finally getting off their lame old leash. The park is well-kept, but something of a hidden treasure for locals. Not many frequent this park, making it great for your dog’s first park visit. Bring drinking water and waste bags, as well as your trusty collapsible water bowl.

Housed in Arlington, a hop and a skip from East Weymouth, you’ll find Thorndike Field, a highly-rated park which contains a massive dog park. Though there are mixed reviews on the gravel substrate, most are positive and say the gravel is easy for pup to prance on. There’s a water fountain right in the middle of the park, and plenty of obstacles for your doggie to dodge. The locals who frequent this park are exceptionally friendly, but as this is a pretty busy park, there can be a high number of visitors at some hours, making it pawfect for social butterflies!
