You can grab a blanket and picnic basket for a relaxing afternoon on the grass with your dog if you choose. You and your dog can explore Ravine Lake and its glistening waters. If your dog can’t resist water, be sure to pack a few extra towels for the after party on the riverbed! Just make sure you bring waste bags and plenty of drinking water, especially if visiting on a balmy day. There are many small streams that flow through the neighborhood as well, so chances are you will come across one during your many walks with your dog.

As you enter Bernardsville from the north east corner of Far Hills, you would notice several open green spaces with plenty of new friends for your dog to interact with. Natirar Park is just outside of West Far Hills and makes a wonderful spot for a picnic, a hike with friends, or just a quick stop to walk around with your dog. Your dog will enjoy rolling around in the grass in this park, so just make sure you have a good leash with you and you bring your clean-up bags. You will also need to pack plenty of water to drink and some towels for your dog after he is done exploring all of the streams you come across.
