While there are no veterinary clinics in Indian Shores itself, there are many good options in the nearby towns of Indian Rocks Beach, Largo, and Seminole.

Want to spend the day in the park with your pup? Head over to Walsingham Park, which is just five miles from Indian Shores in Largo. This beautiful park has an off-leash dog run with separate areas for large and small dogs. Water is available for your pup in the dog park. Walsingham Park also has a six-mile paved trail where you can take your dog for on-leash walks. This trail takes you through the woods and past two picturesque lakes. You and your pup will always have a good time in this park!

Seminole City Park is another great place to spend the day with your dog. This neighborhood park is about four miles from Indian Shores, and it welcomes dogs on-leash. This neighborhood is home to Indian Shores’ one dog-friendly park, Town Square Nature Park. While dogs aren’t allowed on Town Square’s boardwalk, you can take them for an on-leash stroll on the park’s Pet Walk. This pet walk is located in a grassy area, and it goes past mangroves and along the scenic Intercoastal Waterway. Doggy bags are available for your pup at this pet walk. After your walk, treat your dog to a snack at Haze Ice Cream. This ice cream shop offers doggy ice cream your pup is sure to love! For humans, Haze Ice Cream has over 40 flavors of homemade ice cream, milkshakes, and coffee drinks.
