There is an abundance of sports fields as well as a playground, and it is home to Panama City Beach Aquatic Center. For you and your four-legged favorite, this park has many tremendous trails to trek! And best of all? The park has an off-leash designated doggy area! This little dog park has separate areas for small pups and a small pool to splash in! This park is also the trailhead of Gayle’s Trails, which offers miles of wondrous walkies for you and your furever friend.

Lakeside by the Gulf
Just across from Pier Park, you’ll find Pier Park Dog Beach. This beach isn’t officially an off-leash zone, but it lets you and your barking bestie play in the powder-soft sand and dip paws in the glassy water in a safe setting designed for doggos. Whether you want to stroll along the water's edge or throw off your shoes and socks and join Fido for a pupperific paddle, this is the pawfect place to do it. Fido can sniff out the locals and socialize with fellow water-babies, or you can rest in a quiet spot and "paws" for some quality time. If you’re as hungry as a hound after your day in the sand, then head to dog-friendly Hook’d Pier Bar and Grill, where they’ll bring your pooch a water bowl.

This doggy dreamland has reams of room for running, and whether you’re waving or wagging hello, you’re sure to make some furever fur-iends here! With an area for bigger dogs, a small dog zone, and a mini wooded wonderland for dogs of any size to explore, this park has everything you need to tire out your tyke. There is drinking water provided on site and there are even little puppy pools to wash off or cool down. There are usually many toys in the park, so no need to bring any along, but don’t forget the bags for doggy droppings!

Looking for some more mutt-mingling meadows? Then you’d have to be barking mad to skip Al Helms Dog Park in Caroline Addition, Panama City. Sit back in one of the many seating areas on-site and watch your pup go mutts in this beautiful bark park. There are separate areas for petite Pomeranians and long Leonbergers, and there are usually toys hidden in the grass. While there isn’t a lot of shade in this spot, there is a watering station with a hose and lots of drinking bowls to help you ensure your hound stays hydrated! There are plenty of trash cans lining the area, but you’ll need to carry poop bags for clean-ups.
