The actual beach area is off-leash, and you will want to check the tide. If it is low tide, there will be a lot of sandy beach for your pooch to run on; however, if it is high tide, there will not be much beach to play on. There is parking up above, so you can enjoy a little hike with your pup before jumping in the water to cool off. The rest of the park includes trails to walk on while your pup is on his leash, and there are also picnic areas available.
