If you’re looking for a good place to take your pup for a walk, try Duke Park. This park is about 14 miles from New Carlisle in Troy, and it has a two-mile trail that welcomes dogs on-leash. This paved trail goes past a beautiful pond, and it also passes by open fields. If you want to picnic with your pup, there are plenty of picnic tables available in this fun community park.

When you want to get out into the woods with your dog, head over to Buck Creek State Park in Springfield. Located about 17 miles from New Carlisle, this 1,896-acre park welcomes dogs on-leash.
