Although technically neither a city nor a town, North Scituate, located in – you guessed it – northern Scituate has become its own little village. While there isn’t much to do in the village itself, there are quite a few historic sites to check out, including the Old Congregational Church, founded in 1834, and Smithville Seminary, which dates back to 1839. While you may enjoy visiting these sites, the village leaves a bit to be desired for dog owners who want to go out and explore with their canine companions.

In Providence, there are plenty of opportunities to have some serious fun with your four-legged friend. Although North Scituate isn’t the most dog-friendly area, the village has plenty of rich history that still warrants a visit. Make sure to drop by this friendly village today!
