Although swimming is not allowed, dogs are allowed on kayaks and boats that are used for the lake. Owners can even find clean-up stations, benches, trash bins, and water fountains throughout the park for them and their pooch.

Lake Gerar Park is located in the City Center neighborhood in Rehoboth Beach, and offers a dog-friendly alternative to the town's beaches.
