as there are five places in the centre of town that allow pets at their outdoor
tables. For a delicious breakfast or light lunch, head to Panera Bread for one

In the northern section of Twinsburg is the
Centre Valley Park, home to a 4.41 mile pup-friendly trail known as the Centre
Valley Loop Trail. The eastern section of the trail is the Old Hickory Trail, which
takes you through beautiful wooded areas for approximately 1.25 miles. This
joins a sidewalk trail at either end and crosses Tinkers Creek. Your dog will
need to stay leashed on these trails, but will love going on the adventure with
you. Centre Valley Park has plenty of parking close to the trail, as well as
restrooms and picnic areas. Glen Meadow Park is just north of Centre Valley
Park, and has more short dog-friendly paved trails, as well as amenities such as
restrooms, picnic areas and a playground for your two-legged kids to enjoy.

Macedonia City Center
Just four miles from Twinsburg is the town of Macedonia,
where you will find a huge pup-friendly park known as Longwood Park. One of the
largest metropolitan parks in the state, this is a fantastic place for the
whole family to visit. There are three trails to walk here, each about a mile
in length, as well as a lovely pond to take a walk around and admire the local
birds. Picnic areas, a playground and a restroom facilities are also available
at Longwood Park to make for a very pleasant day out. Dogs are very welcome throughout
park, but needs to stay leashed, and please remember to clean up any mess Fido
leaves behind.

Tails ‘n’ Trails Dog Park in Aurora is a great free park where Fido can have a run off the lead and maybe even meet some new friends. There are two fenced areas, one for small dogs and one for the larger breeds, with some play features such as a fire hydrant. Running water is available, but bring a drinking bowl for your dog. While you supervise your busy pup, you can take a seat at one of the benches along the edge of the play area and relax for a while. Keep your pet on a leash to and from the park, and check out the park guidelines at the entrance to make sure everyone stays safe and has a great time.

Sagamore Hills
Ten miles west of Twinsburg is Sagamore Hills that
borders the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This is a must-see in this area,
with many beautiful trails to explore, and is a fascinating place of cultural
and natural history. Brandywine Falls is particularly impressive, boasting an
impressive array of wildlife, native fauna and 65-foot falls at peak season.
For more trail walking around here, seek out the Metro Parks Bike and Hike
Trail that follows the path of the old Akron, Bedford and Cleveland Railroad
line. This well-maintained paved path takes you through Sagamore Hills and down
towards Boston Heights, but you can travel out-and-back as far as you like. Dogs
are welcome on both of these trails but need to remain leashed.
