The park also includes picnic tables and restrooms for the comfort of the human visitors. The park is spacious and has plenty of lush grass to roll around in. There are trees all over the park that provide shade for the hot summer days. Don't fur-get to bring water and waste bags!36

Northwest Berkeley
Around 20 miles away from Castro Valley, you'll find another pawesome park to visit! Cesar Chavez Dog Park is located in Northwest Berkeley. This is a big open space where dogs can frolic off-leash in the lush, green grass. You should keep in mind that the area is not fenced, so if your pup is a runner or doesn't respond well to voice commands, this might not be a good place for your dog to play! There are some benches here overlooking the ocean. Water and trash cans are available, but you'll need to bring your own waste bags. Playing fetch here is great since the space is pretty large, so feel free to bring a ball or Frisbee for the pawfect day out!
