lol thank you so much! Karma got a little excited to see Stella and peed a little. She cleaned it up and took great care of my babies on the walk. Really appreciate it. It was also short notice and she managed to squeeze me in so that my girls didn t have an accident at home

If your pup is itching for a walk, help him scratch that itch with a trip to Laguna Grande Regional Park. This 35-acre park sits on restored wetlands. Its center feature is Laguna Grande, a large freshwater lake. Your pooch can cruise around the surfaced pathways that follow the lake’s perimeter. He’ll enjoy pawsome waterfront scenery while getting some doggy cardio. Keep in mind the trails are also used by cyclists and runners, so make sure your pup is leashed at all times. Bridges and observation platforms are placed throughout the surrounding marshland, so your pal can get an even closer look at the wetland habitat.

Does your pup have a bunch of extra energy to burn? A trip to Pachetti Park is what he needs. This 1.7 acre park is named after a former fire chief and pays tribute to Seaside’s first K-9 Unit. Three cheers for pups in uniform! Your pal will have plenty of room to dash and dart around on his own or chase a new friend. A path runs down the middle of the park, so you can walk around and keep an eye on your pooch. Small dogs have their own area to play and trees in both sections keep the pups cool when the weather is too warm.

Del Rey Oaks

Del Rey Oaks

Del Rey Oaks is a small community just to the south of Seaside. Make your way over to this town and pay a visit to the Frog Pond Wetland Preserve. A variety of trails weaves through this park and lets your pup get a firsthand account of this fragile ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled for frogs, lizards, deer, and hummingbirds. If she’s craving some off leash time, pop over to the Del Rey Oaks Dog Park. It’s located inside Del Rey Oaks Park, and is the perfect place for your dog to let loose and run free. Just a note, large and small dogs play together in this park.

You may see people flying a kite, launching a kayak, or even scuba diving. Sea life is abundant in this area. If you happen to go while the tide is out, be sure to explore the tide pools with your furry BFF.
