Hang out at the West Side Memorial Park with Fido by your side. This huge park is filled with a gazebo, picnic tables, benches, and basketball courts. There is plenty of grass for fetch and a great paved walking trail that will take you and your dog around the park. 

Take a hike along the West Side Trail and bring your dog along for the adventure. The trail is a 9.9-mile hike through the Stanislaus National Forest. There is a 1,036-foot elevation gain on a out and back route. While hiking, you will pass a river where your dog can stop for some water, just make sure to keep him on a leash while you are out on this trail.

While out at the park, don't forget to bring water and your clean-up bags along, and make sure to keep your pup on a leash. Located in Sonora, and only five miles from Tuolumne, your dog won't mind the small car ride to this pawsome park.

A streamside trail runs through this park where you and your dog can get a great day's worth of exercise in. This pawsome park is located in Twain Harte, and only seven miles out of Tuolumne. Make sure to bring water along since the park doesn't have a lot of shade.

    If your dog is itching to go on a hike, check out the Dragoon Gulch Trail. This dogtastic trail offers a 2.2-mile hiking adventure with a 272-foot elevation gain on a loop style route. The short trail is covered in trees to keep the two of you shaded, and you will pass the Woods Creek where you can stop for some water. The trail is perfect for any skill level of hiker since it is short and it isn't too hilly. Located in Sonora, and only eight miles from Tuolumne, your dog will have a great time on this hike with you.
