There’s agility equipment for more adventurous dogs to play with, including tires and weaving poles. Drinking water and clean-up materials are both provided by the park. For dog moms and dads, there’s shaded seating available. Don’t forget to bring water for yourself, though! Plenty of parking is also available just outside of the bark park, and it's free to use.

Arts District

Los Angeles’s Arts District, located about ten miles from Westmont, is home to the aptly-named Arts District Dog Park. This dog park has vibrant, graffiti-style paintings of dogs around the fence, immediately making it stand out. Like most dog parks, there’s a separate section for smaller dogs, but larger dogs who are shy are also allowed in that portion of the park. Use your best judgment. Poop scoops are available for you to use to clean up after your pooch. Locals warn it can be tricky to find parking just next to the park, so you might want to plan for a short walk.

Culver City Dog Park is a furrific place to take your dog for some off-leash fun. It’s about 11 miles from Westmont. This off-leash bark park has plenty of room for your dog to play with their furry friends; this is crucial to the development of good canine manners. There’s a separate section for dogs on the smaller side, so you don’t have to worry about a friendly giant accidentally tumbling over a pup half their size.
