El Segundo South
For a family friendly neighborhood, look no further than El Segundo South. Nestled in the center of this local area is Court 1 of the El Segundo Recreation Park, a large green area that’s friendly toward all leashed pups. Numerous paved trails run through this park, offering scenic views that are perfect to keep daily walks fresh and exciting. For a smaller area that’s right next to a bus stop, Hilltop Park offers a small green stretch that’s ideal for dogs who don’t like a lot of outside stimulus. Whatever your choice, your pup will definitely have a puptastic time!

El Segundo North
El Segundo North is a safe and friendly neighborhood that welcomes all. At the north end of this neighborhood is the El Segundo Dog Park, a long stretch of fenced in land where pups can run around off leash to their heart’s content. There are separate areas for large and small dogs and plenty of shade trees on both sides to protect from the midday sun. Though mostly dirt, this park is the ideal place to play fetch and let your favorite furry friend get some much needed exercise and make some new friends along the way! This park is right next to a main highway, so be sure to watch for cars.

El Segundo Northeast
This pleasant neighborhood is as peaceful as it is welcoming, and comes with three separate parks that are all friendly to leashed pups. The largest, Washington Park, is a long stretch of green that makes for a pleasant stroll in the mornings. A main road does run through this park, so watch for cars if you intend to walk all the way across it. Just north is Constitution Park, a lush area with shade trees and picnic tables should you decide to take a rest. Last but not least is Sycamore Park, a quiet area that’s ideal for older pups who don’t like a lot of stimulation.

El Segundo Northwest
El Segundo Northwest is an ideal dog friendly neighborhood with two parks at either end. At the eastern edge is Library Park, a gorgeous planted area with shade trees all around to provide ample protection from the midday sun. Concrete walkways offer level and stress free areas to walk your pup while you enjoy the surrounding scenery. West is Acadia Park, a small local area that’s just off West Acadia Avenue. It makes up for its small size with grass and trees, as well as periodic benches to offer sitting areas. The park would make for an ideal break stop during longer walks across the neighborhood. Just remember to keep your pup leashed!
Downtown El Segundo
Downtown is a bustling area with unique charm that’s sure to draw you right in. Tucked right in the center of this busy central area is Freedom Park, a unique space with dirt pathways and green stretches that occasionally give way to planted flowers. Your pup is welcome in the park so long as he remains leashed. Periodic benches lay across these walkways, so you can always take a break from those longer walks. Remember to take water with you, as this park isn’t very shady and you definitely don’t want to risk dehydration!
