I grew up with yellow labs and was recently the sole caretaker of my parent’s senior yellow lab for several months. I love spending my free time with dogs but am unable to have one of my own due to my job’s travel schedule (in non-COVID times). I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs, big or small, and am confident that I can keep your dog happy and safe while it is in my care. I would love nothing more than to meet your dog and provide them with the utmost care and love they deserve!

I am from Orange County, California and I have always loved dogs and have grown up having a dog in the home since I can remember. Hi there! My name is André and to put it simply- I LOVE dogs! Over the years I’ve had the privilege of enjoying many different types of dogs in my life. From gentle greyhounds to excitable labradors, energetic small terriers to their larger and stronger pit bull relatives, I always enjoy time spent with dogs. I relish studying them and learning from them. In fact, canine psychology has always been a fascination of mine. I will always do my best to understand your animal’s needs so I can provide the best service possible- for the dogs and of course, for you!

I grew up with a golden retriever named Katie who was the most loving dog in the world. She showed me how much we can all learn from dogs. I genuinely care about dogs and making sure they receive the love and attention they deserve. I recently moved to Oakland for a job at a nonprofit, and I miss my dogs back in Texas so much. I have endless experience with dogs from walking, grooming, bathing, feeding, and adoring my own that I grew up with to dog sitting for friends and neighbors on multiple occasions. I always respect an owner's wishes in regards to how they like their dogs to be taken care of while they are away.
