“Dogs are Family & should be treated with love!”

I’ve watched dogs of all breeds/sizes overnight & during the day. My family/friends/clients have always been able to rely on me even if last minute they request for me to drop in or walk their dog. I’m very patient, calm, fun & energetic with dogs. I play fetch all the time with our lab and both our dogs love belly rubs and cuddles. I can be relied upon for walks, drop-in visits & day/night boarding. I’ve helped raise many puppies, I own 2 middle aged dogs, & have taken care of senior dogs.

Dog Walking in Somers

Somers is a charming town nestled in Tolland County. It sits right on the Massachusetts border and is full of forests, streams, and classic New England beauty.

If your canine companion likes hiking, you’re in luck here, as Somers has plenty of pawsome trails conveniently located within the town boundaries. Bald Mountain is the highest place in Somers, and you can conquer this summit with your furry BFF. The trail is 1.25 miles and takes you through the habitat of turkey vultures, black bear, deer, and red fox. The Forest View Trail connects Whitaker Woods with the Soapstone Mountain Trail. Clip on your pup’s leash and follow this trail through the beautiful terrain. It’s about 3.5 miles one way, so your dog will have plenty of mileage to work out his energy. There are numerous side trails along the way, so feel free to explore.

The Breakneck Pond Loop is one of the most pupular trails. It’s just under seven miles and circles one of the main lakes.  Keep your eyes and ears open for frogs and toads. Also, bug repellent is a must when following this trail.
