Hi, I’m Megan, and I have owned dogs all my life! I have owned dogs as little as a Maltese all the way to Pit Bulls and German shepherds. I have walked dogs as big as Great Danes, so size and breeds are not an issue for me I love them all. I love all dogs of any size and any difficulties after owning Pit Bulls! I haven’t found a dog I can’t get through. What better way to care and walk that dog to where we both have fun?!

“Dogs are Family & should be treated with love!”

I’ve watched dogs of all breeds/sizes overnight & during the day. My family/friends/clients have always been able to rely on me even if last minute they request for me to drop in or walk their dog. I’m very patient, calm, fun & energetic with dogs. I play fetch all the time with our lab and both our dogs love belly rubs and cuddles. I can be relied upon for walks, drop-in visits & day/night boarding. I’ve helped raise many puppies, I own 2 middle aged dogs, & have taken care of senior dogs.

I love dogs, and they love me. I treat all dogs as if they are my own. I have had dogs growing up and as an adult. I am a stong believer that a dog needs exercise and stimulation daily as part of their mental well being. Socializing a dog is also very important. I had rescued a doberman with 0 social skills and managed to, through paitents and love to teach him that he had no reason to fear people.I can assure you your pet will be in loving hands.

Hello my name is Steven. I have been living with, and caring for all kinds of animals throughout my life. But dogs are my joy. I am freelance artist by profession, and dogs are one of my top subject matter. With my dad being an ex Dog show handler, judge and breeder, with 2 dogs of my own, not a day goes by where I don’t interact with a dog. I have been walking dogs professionally for about a year now. I have had several dog training classes. And I take them every few years to keep myself current. So I am looking forward to being able to getting to know your dog/pup and taking them for a walk.

Scantic River Linear Park is a great place to take your four legged companion. There are several trails that can be accessed in either Somersville, or the neighboring town of Enfield. One of the trails is about 3.5 miles long. Your pooch will love being out in nature and getting his exercise right next to the river. If he gets a little too warm while exercising, let him splash around in the cool water. There are also a few small streams that break off from the river. Basically, you and your furry hiking buddy have plenty to discover while in this park. Your pup is sure to have a tail waggin’ time!

Your canine buddy will have ample room to run and feel his fur fly in the wind. He can romp around with new playmates or fetch to his heart’s content. To start with, take your leashed pup for a walk around Freshwater Pond. This paved path circles a decent sized neighborhood fishing pond. Continue on to the grounds of Enfield’s Town Hall. Follow the walking paths through shade trees, then stop by the gazebo and let your pal rest her paws. If she’s still rearing to go, head over to the nearby Lafayette Park. When it’s time to go home, she’ll be ready for a nap!

It would take hours and hours to discover all this area has to offer. Leash up your pup and get started! Trails weave through deciduous and evergreen forests and past lakes, ponds and streams. The Breakneck Pond Loop is one of the most pupular trails. It’s just under seven miles and circles one of the main lakes.  Keep your eyes and ears open for frogs and toads.
