Brandywine Village
Brandywine Village is a historic district in Wilmington that was first developed in the late 18th century. There are several notable buildings in the area as well as the Talley Day Bark Park. This dog park has separate sections for big and small dogs, as well as several walking paths. The park has a handy double-gated entry system to ensure dogs can't escape the park's boundaries. Talley Day Bark Park also has benches, water fountains, and water bowls. The park is very large which means both you and your pet are sure to get some good exercise in during your visit!36

Highlands
The Highlands is a quiet, clean neighborhood with a variety of homes, including apartments and single family dwellings. You'll also find the Carousel Farm Off-Leash area in the Highlands, and you and your dog won't want to miss it! This large park isn't fenced, so if Fido isn't a good listener, you will want to keep him on a leash here. Carousel Farm has a pond that dogs love to cool off in on hot days, and the area is situated on a big hill that dogs enjoy tiring themselves out on as they race up and down.24

Triangle
An area of Saint Cloud known as "The Triangle" is another neighborhood in the city great for dog owners to live. The Brandywine Park Off-Leash Area is also in The Triangle, and both you and your pet will enjoy exploring this beautiful area. Dogs are allowed off-leash here, but the area isn't fenced so if your dog doesn't have excellent recall skills, it is best enjoyed with a leashed dog. This park is a popular place for picnics, sporting events, and other family activities like hiking and biking -- it truly has something to offer everyone, including dogs!12

Loma
The Loma, or Lower Market area of Wilmington, is popular with young creatives who live in the city as well as those who commute to Philadelphia regularly as it is just walking distance to the train station. The Banning Park Dog Park has separate sections for big and small dogs along with water fountains, shade trees, and several trails to explore nearby. Banning Park also has a playground, sports fields, tennis and volleyball courts, along with picnic tables and gathering areas.
