While there are baseball fields here, there is also lots of room for your pup and you can play fetch with their favorite ball or Frisbee to burn some excitable energy. You can also do some shopping with your pooch at Chester Country Furnishings when you are in the area! This is a pawsome place where your dog is welcome to join you as you browse the store.

Brookhaven

For a fun day with your furry companion, head next door to the puptown of Brookhaven. Visit the dog friendly Rita’s Italian Ice for a tasty snack, such as Italian ices, soft serve custard and cream ices, with lots of interesting flavors, such as Swedish Fish and Pumpkin Pie. What’s more, this place also offers milkshakes and frozen drinks; there is something for everyone! The dog friendly tables outside allow you to sit back and relax with your pup, and since there is a walk-up window, you don’t need to leave your canine by himself!

Jump in the car and head 2.4 miles southwest to the nearby town of Chester for a visit to the pawsome Veterans Memorial Park, where there is plenty of open green grass for playing and roaming. There is a walking path for a lovely stroll through this green area, and space for romping in the grass. The park also features basketball courts, tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Bring some water for your panting pup, and have a puperific time!

Edgemont

Since there are not many dog friendly places to stay when you are visiting Upland, a quick jaunt next door to Chester is sure to satisfy! The Best Western Plus Philadelphia Airport South welcomes two pups of any size for a small additional fee per night and isn’t far away. If your pooch is crate trained, he can be left in the room if you need to pop out for a short time. For some exercise with your pup, visit Chester Park nearby, where there is plenty of open grass. Get out that energy with a brisk walk, or romp in the grass.

To go on an adventure with your pup, head northeast for 2.4 miles to the puptown of Wallingford! Here you will find the puptastic Houston Park where you can enjoy a day out in the sun. This beautiful 45 acre park has a sniff-tastic walking trail where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll with your furry friend. This takes you through oak, beech and maple trees, and there's plenty of oppawtunity to spot wildlife. Your pooch is sure to love investigating all of the new scents and sights at Houston Park! the park also features expansive soccer and baseball fields.
