West Swarthmore

West Swarthmore

If your pup has been sitting around all day, then grab his leash and head over to Crum Woods. As one of the only forests in Delaware County, this place will be a real treat for your pooch. It’s located in Swarthmore and is part of Swarthmore College. Trails range from short little jaunts to 2.2 miles. As you’re hiking with your pal, look for puptastic features like Alligator Rock, Crum Creek, and Wister Garden. Since the forest is used as a classroom, it’s not uncommon to see students of all ages learning about the trees and local habitat. Remember to pack water and clean up bags for your furry hiking companion.
