Twelve miles out of Bartow in Lakeland is the Diogi Park at Loyce E. Harpe Park. This fenced in dog park is the perfect place to take Fido to run around off leash and meet some new furry pals. The park offers two areas, one for large dogs and one for small, so Fido can play with pups his own size. They also offer a doggie water fountain, agility equipment for the more athletic dogs, and a fire hydrant. The dog park has a divided area for small and large dogs, plus agility equipment to help run out some extra energy. There is a mixture of sand and grass for you pup to play on, and you both can feel safe here since the park is continually patrolled. If your dog would rather just hang at the park, the two of you can enjoy the nice walking trail that is offered, along with a playground, sports field, and picnic area.
