Spend a day out with your furry pal at the Bethlehem Community Park. This lovely park is a great place to hang out and get a walk in with your dog. The park is filled with grass for fetch, a playground, and benches you can relax on. There is a small paved walking path that can be used for a great walk while you are out, just make sure your dog stays on a leash when you are there. Make sure to bring plenty of water along with you since the park doesn't offer a lot of shade, and don't forget clean-up bags.36

Northwest High Springs
The O'Leno State Park is a pawsome park to hang out at with your four-legged pal. The park offers numerous activities like camping, canoeing, a picnic pavilion, and a playground. Go on a hike throughout the park to tire out your adventurous pup. There are a ton of different trails that you can walk that range in length, some of the more popular trails being the River Trail, Limestone Trail, and the Parener's Branch. This great park is located ten miles out of Fort White in High Springs.24

West High Springs
The Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park is a beautiful park to go and spend a day out with your pup. The park contains numerous natural springs, plus it has great amenities like camping, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, and canoeing. The park also has hiking trails that you and Fido can use for a walk. While hiking, you will come across a stream where you and your dog can stop and cool down. The San Felaso Hammock Preserve State Park offers a great area where you and your dog can go and explore alongside you. The park is mainly used for horseback riding and hiking, so if your dog loves his walks then this is the park for you. Take a hike along the San Felasco Hammock Trail which winds through the park and offers a 2.9-mile distance to hike. With an elevation gain of 114-feet on a loop style route, this trail is perfect for just about anyone. North Alachua
Your dog will love visiting the Mill Creek Preserve alongside you. This pawsome preserve offers over 1,200-acres that you and Fido can go explore together. There is a 5-mile unpaved hiking trail that is perfect to use for a walk with your dog. The trail will take your near the Appalachian Hardwood Forest where you will see a waterfall and an area where you can stop to cool down. The park does not offer any picnic areas or restrooms, so plan accordingly. Make sure your dog remains on a leash while you explore this preserve in the nearby town of Alachua.
