The Haisley Lynch Dog Park is conveniently located in downtown Gainesville. It has a nice big area for off-leash play. Sit in the area with some chairs, relax, and watch that puppy take some laps around the yard. The landscape is very nice and calming. The park is right downtown, so anyone could stretch their legs and paws and walk there, while travelling throughout the dog-friendly downtown area. There is certainly plenty of area to play fetch with their favorite toy!

Maricamp

The Letty Towles Dog Park in Ocala has it all! It’s located just a few minutes south of Lochloosa. This park welcomes all dogs, large, small, and in between. Everyone knows it’s hot in Florida, so the city has installed sprinklers for the pups to cool off in! There is also a fire hydrant on-site, also known as the park bathroom. The dogs are encouraged to get off-leash to enjoy nature. Your pup will go mutts over the kiddie pools here -- pet parents are welcome to fill them up using the hoses available. What more could you want from a pawesome dog park?!

Boulware Springs Park

The trails in Gainesville are fun and exciting, making them the pawfect place to explore with Rover. The Gainesville Bike Trailhead offers parking with bathrooms and water for people and pups. Dogs need an ample amount of exercise each day, and taking them to this trail is a wonderful way to get them into shape so they stay healthy. An added bonus of exercising on this trail is the beautiful views! Your furry friend will want to come back every day for daily walks or runs.

Lake Lochloosa Park

The Lochloosa Lake Park is a pawsome place, because it gives you, your pup, and the family a chance to visit the great outdoors in Florida's beautiful landscape. There are piers with gazebos attached for several people to sit and have lunch, fish, or just watch the water ripple. Your pup can roam free as long as they stay by your side. This is a perfect place to go for an afternoon of fun with family and friends. Other friends that have more fur are certainly invited as well!

Northside Park

Northside Park is conveniently located by some pet-friendly stores so you can take your pup with you for a picnic in the afternoon. The park is huge and has plenty of activities for people and pets. The park has a disc golf course, which Fido would love to walk with you. Your pal is welcome to chase the discs, as long as you return them when you’re finished.. The park also has pavilions with picnic tables and playgrounds so the whole family can enjoy the wonderful park located just outside Gainesville’s Hidden Lake neighborhood.
