The Juno Ocean Walk neighborhood is proud home to one of Florida’s favorite dog friendly beaches. Jupiter Beach allows dogs to splash and play in glorious off-leash freedom. Dogs are permitted on the 2.5 mile stretch between Beach Markers #25 and #60. Friends of Jupiter Beach, a non-profit organization, is committed to keeping this beach dog-friendly by removing trash and promoting beach rules. Waste bags are provided at beach crossovers, so please pick up after your pup and keep him on his best behavior! To keep your dog healthy and happy, bring drinking water and watch that he doesn’t get a sunburn. You’ll be sure to have a doggone good time!

River at the Bluffs

You and your dog will find a great treat in The River at the Bluffs neighborhood in Jupiter! This neighborhood has the F.I.N.D. Dog Park, a great place to bring your fur friend for some exercise and pawsitive socialization. This park features two fenced in areas, one for larger breeds and one for smaller breeds to enjoy off-leash freedom. Drinking water and waste bags are provided. As if that’s not enough, on-leash dogs are welcome to enjoy the park's open grassy area, and gravel hiking trails that lead to the Intercoastal Waterway. The park also features restrooms, a picnic area and a playground.

Olympus

Looking for a new exciting hobby that you can do with your dog? Head over to the Olympus neighborhood to find Surfur Dog, where dog surf lessons are offered. Yes, you read that right, dog surf lessons! This unique opportunity will allow you to bond with your dog and enjoy the beach in a whole new way. The lessons are guided by professional dog trainers . You’ll need to provide your dog’s VET and rabies records, but the surfboard and dog life jacket are included. So bring along plenty of water and sunscreen because surfs up, dudes and dogs!

Suni Sands

Outdoor enthusiasts from all around flock to the Suni Sands neighborhood. This neighborhood is home to the Jupiter Outdoor Center, which offers kayak and paddleboard rentals and tours. You and your pup can take a leisurely paddle down Loxahatchee River on your own, or take a guided eco tour. You may get the chance to see some beautiful wildlife on the Sea Turtles and Manatee Paddle Tour, or see a spectacular display of colors on the Sunset and Stargazing Tour. These tours are a great way to get up close and personal with some of Florida’s best features. The center does have a couple dog life jackets to offer, but you may want to bring your own just in case!

Sawfish Bay

The Sawfish Bay neighborhood is certainly a delight for dog owners. This little neighborhood is mostly occupied by Sawfish Bay Park, Jupiter Island Park and Fullerton Island. These three parks offer beautiful bay views for you to enjoy on your walk with Fido. Your dog will need to stay leashed and be picked up after in these parks. Fullerton Island is only accessible by boat, and has no restrooms or trash cans available, so please pack out what you pack in! When your dog needs a treat, head over to Casa Mia Trattoria and Pizzeria. This restaurant specializes in authentic Italian dishes, and has dog friendly outdoor tables.
