Dog Areas in Palm City

5 Groomers

Palm City is a marvelous beach resort located at a small distance from Port Saint Lucie on the east coast of Florida. Palm City attracts a large crowd of tourists every year who prefer the small town vibe of Palm City as opposed to the large-scale resort areas. Palm City is, furthermore, also very pet-friendly and many venues, such as the Olympic Diner and the New England Fish Market & Restaurant, are open for dogs as well.

Dog owners of Palm City can take their dogs for a walk in the Poppleton Creek Dog Park, located in the nearby town of Stuart. The park is located in the Poppleton Creek Park which is worth a visit on its own as it offers various trails through interesting and unique landscapes.

There are also plans to open an off-leash dog park in Palm City, Florida after the success of the first dog park in Martin County. The fundraising for this off-leash dog park in Palm City has started since 2011 and still going strong as there is a large demand for such a park by the Palm City locals.

As Palm City, Florida, is close to the ocean, there are naturally also various beaches. Unfortunately, most of the beaches in the area are no-go areas for dogs. However, Jensen Beach has some areas where dogs are allowed on the beach as long as they are on a leash.
