A stop that is definitely worth making on your doggy day trip is towards Central Fort Pierce South -- as much of a mouthful as that is! This area is home to Maravilla Park, a park where your well-behaved canine is free to enjoy some time off their leash. There are two distinct locations for large and small canines, as well as a central area with a picnic area. Pack yourself a yummy meal and settle in while your pup has the time of their life with a group of new friends. The people are friendly here, as are the dogs.

East Fort Pierce North

Your next stop should certainly be East Fort Pierce North, a little drive away from Fort Pierce South but well worth the ride. That’s where you’ll find Wildcat Cove Preserve and Dog Park. While your dog will have to remain on their leash, at least for the duration of the hiking trails, the location can’t be missed. With scenery that can’t be beat, a trip to the Cove Preserve on a sunny day is definitely what the doctor ordered… or, well, the veterinarian. Just bring plenty of drinking water for your little buddy, and be prepared to clean up any messes.

East Fort Pierce

Mosey southwards a bit, and find yourself in East Fort Pierce, a prime location to grab a tasty bite to eat. If you’re hungry for one of the best burgers you’ll ever taste, you and your precious pup should be sure to stop in at Archie’s Seabreeze, a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere for humans and dogs alike. Your adorable dog will be welcome to join you on the deck, and they’ll receive plenty of pawsitive attention and fresh water while you choose from the extensive menu. If all else fails, go with a classic cheeseburger and enjoy the view!

Downtown Fort Pierce

Now make your way to Downtown Fort Pierce, and you’ll find another restaurant that you and your pup can’t afford to miss. At Cobb’s Landing, you’ll find many friendly faces, both from humans and their canine companions. The wait staff is exceptionally friendly and will welcome your pup with a fresh bowl of ice water -- perfect for the sunny atmosphere on the outdoor deck. You and Fido are sure to make plenty of new friends on your trip, and the seafood available on the menu can’t be matched. Their gumbo is a choice that you can’t go wrong with -- it’s simply divine!

Central Fort Pierce

Last but not least by any means, you and your diva doggy should make your way to Central Fort Pierce for a delicious treat -- which you’ll find at Importico’s Bakery Cafe. Specializing in artisan bread and deliciously sweet baked goods, you and Fido will be welcome to feast at any of the four dog-friendly outdoor tables. You’ll have to briefly tie pup up while you go inside to get your sumptuous snacks, but they’ll be especially popular with the other diners at the cafe. Your diva doggy will feel like regular royalty with all the kind and tender attention they’ll be receiving!
