Oak Hill is a lovely Atlantic coastal city in Volusia County. Originally, the town was known as Surruque el Viejo by the Timucuan Indians who lived in Oak Hill from 2000 BC to 1500 AD. Today, the community still celebrates their Indian heritage. This town is not short on love for their pups, as Oak Hill is home to twenty veterinarians that Fido can go to for a health check while visiting.
If Fido is itching to go outside, check out one of the great parks that Oak Hill has to offer. River Breeze Park is a beautiful 37-acre park that includes a beautiful river. The park offers a playground, fishing, and a nice walking path, plus a dock where you and your dog can walk on.
Grab a bite to eat at Goodrich's Seafood where they offer all you can eat fish and shrimp. Their outdoor patio is dog friendly, and since it sits on top of the beach, you and Fido will get a pawsome view of the ocean while you enjoy a tasty meal. If you want a little more options on the menu, head over to Beef' O' Brady's for some traditional American food. They offer award winning wings, soups, salads, burgers, and more. Their outdoor patio also welcomes Fido to join you for your meal.
