If you're visiting the beautiful Saint James City on Pine Island, Florida and you're bringing your beloved pet with you, then you absolutely have to visit Galt Preserve. The preserve offers 2.5 miles of beautiful trails suited for hiking and casual walks. The trails are pet-friendly and your pooch is welcome here, although he has to be on leash at all times. There are poop bags provided along the way, and you have to pick up after your pup. Make sure you bring lots of water and snacks. Moreover, there are restrooms for the human visitors.
