The Pineland Monument Park is a beautiful park to hang out at with your furry pal. This park is open from dawn until dusk, seven days a week, giving you and your dog plenty of time to explore and visit. The park offers some historic information of the Calusa Indians, and locals say its the best spot in town to watch the sunset. Make sure to keep Fido on leash when visiting this lovely park, which offers enough grass area for fetch and a great paved walking path. Make sure to bring clean-up bags along with you.

If you and your pup are up in the Four Winds neighborhood and get hungry, there are two great restaurants you can dine at. The Lazy Flaming 3 Inc offers a wide menu of uniquely seasoned food, including shrimp, conch fritters, and buffalo wings. Capt'n Con's Fish House is a beachfront seafood eatery that hosts live music events and karaoke contest. Their menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with a wide range of seafood options. Both of these delicious restaurants offer dog friendly patios and welcome your furry pal to come along with you and enjoy your meal together.

Pine Island Center

Grab Fido and go on an amazing hike along the Pinewoods Trail. The trail will start at the Pinewood Trails Park that is over 8 acres to explore together. The trail is a loop style route, and is paved, perfect if you're looking for a more leisurely hike. Only one-third of a mile long, this hike is perfect for just about anyone. Make sure to keep your furry pal on a leash while you are in the park, and don't forget to bring water and clean-up bags along with you.

West Island

The Matlacha Community Park is a beautiful 9 acre waterfront park that has tons of amazing amenities for you and your pup. The park offers a boat launch, fishing pier, basketball courts, and a playground. There is a large green space where Fido can play fetch, and a great paved walking path where you both can get a good walk in before heading home for the day. The park is located in Matlacha, and only ten miles out of Bokeelia, perfect if you both want to explore a new park of the island together, but somewhere that isn't too far away from home.

Porpoise Point Island

The Bat House Park is a great waterfront area that you and your furry pal can relax at together. The park offers a great open space for fetch, or the two of you can enjoy the small walking trail that goes around the park. This beautiful park is located in Matlacha, and is only ten miles out of Bokeelia, perfect for a great time away from home at a new park you can explore together. Make sure Fido stays on leash while you are visiting this pawsome park.
