“Giving your dog all the cuddles til you get home!”

I am an extremely passionate dog lover who will care for your pet when you can’t be there. I rescued a 7 year-old cattle dog two years ago and would love to be around even more dogs on a daily basis. I can drop in and visit them during the day or take them for a nice walk in the evening. I also love being active so if your dog likes frisbee or fetch, I’m the walker for you. I will be sure to treat your pet with all the love and respect I would my own, so rest assured they are in great hands!

Hi! My name is Maggie and I live in Jacksonville and mainly walk dogs on the Southside, Intracoastal, and Beaches areas. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and Labs and have lived with smaller dogs along the way. My three fur babies are a 8 year old chocolate lab, a 10 year old hound mix and a 3 year old black lab... the hound is about 30 lbs and the labs are 65+ pounds that think they are all lap dogs, full of energy and love their walks!!

“I CAN teach your old dog new tricks”

Animals are my passion and I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I also have a background in animal behavior and training, so I feel comfortable walking dogs of all activity levels. I am a volunteer for the suncoast humane society and regularly walk dogs and help them maintain behaviors until they find their forever home. I have a rescue named Mako, who I regularly take for walks, jogs, hikes, and beach trips. It would be my pleasure to care for your pup!

Dog Walking in Punta Gorda

Located on the shores of a pristine estuary from the Gulf of Mexico, Punta Gorda is known for its’ small-town charm, combined with big-city recreation and amenities. That makes it the perfect place to enjoy the Florida sand and surf with your beloved four-legged friend.

Punta Gorda has one dog park, the Hounds of Henry Street Dog Park. It is a fully fenced-in area with a separate small dog section. The park is usually pretty busy, so there are many opportunities to let your dog off-leash for socialization. Amenities include benches, picnic tables, water spigots, and bowls.

Punta Gorda is known for its’ famed Harborwalk. Built after Hurricane Charley of 2004, the Harborwalk meanders alongside the Peace River for 2.4 miles, offering vistas of blue water and mangrove trees. You and Fido will pass by a park, the Barron Collier Bridge and the Gilchrist Bridge, a small Tiki Bar, and the Fisherman’s village.

Need something longer? At the end of the Harborwalk, the path connects to the Punta Gorda Linear Park, which goes to the downtown area. Not wild enough? The Alligator Creek Preserve is located nearby, with four miles of public nature trails. Leashed dogs are welcome on the path, which has inhabitants ranging from armadillos and alligators to otters and eagles.
