Sitting proudly in Williamson County, you will find the furiendly city of Herrin! This pawsome puptown is home to some puptastic dog friendly outdoor activities that you can enjoy with your canine. To keep your pup in good health, there are four veterinary clinics and animal hospitals in Herrin.
One of the best places to visit with your furry friend is the Herrin Memorial Park! This is a huge park where your canine can exercise and have some playtime in the sun. There are some pawsome amenities here such as baseball fields, a playground for the kids, picnic tables and restrooms. In addition, it is home to the furrific Herrin Park Dog Park! This is a puptastic place where your beloved companion can run and roam off leash, as well as socialize with other puppers. There are separate areas for small canines and larger pooches that are fenced in for safe play. There is plenty of shade here for hot days, plus three fire hydrants. Just be sure to bring some water with you for your panting pup!

If you are visiting the puptown of Herrin and are looking for somewhere dog friendly to stay, you can definitely pitch up at the Four Seasons Campground! This is a pawsome family-oriented resort where you can camp under the stars and use the hook-ups. Enjoy some fishing and beautiful views of the waterfront, as well as picnic tables and boating activities. There is also a basketball court here and cabins that you can rent. Of course, your furry friend is welcome at the Four seasons Campground, as long as they remain on leash.
If you like to try out new dog friendly eateries, then you will love what is on offer over in Marion! This pawsome puptown is only six miles from Herrin, which means that you can jump in the car with your pup and head to Back Yard Burgers. This is a furrific spot for getting your paws into a burger when your stomach is growling, as well as chicken, ribs and even some freshly baked cobbler. There are outdoor tables here where your canine can sit with you while you eat. Another puptastic place in town is 17thStreet Barbecue! Here you can dig into some tasty sandwiches, ribs, burgers, wings and soups, plus bag yourself a dog friendly eat out on one of the picnic tables – bone-a-petit!
Every canine loves a trip to the park, which means you have got to make the trip to the puptown of Marion! This pawsome place isn’t far from Herrin and is home to Ray Fosse Park, which is paradise for pooches. Here there is 27 acres of land that you can explore with your canine, which includes grassy areas for a game of fetch. In addition, there are some furrific amenities that you can use at Ray Fosse Park, inluding a baseball and softball complex, picnic pavilions, two playgrounds for the kids to enjoy and three restroom facilities.
For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head to the puptown of Marion! Here you will find the puptastic Pyramid Park, which is sure to get your pup’s tail wagging with excitement. There are over 33 acres of land here that you can explore with your furry friend, with plenty of open grass for a game of fetch. There are also some furrific amenities that you can use throughout the day with family. This includes a skate park, disc golf course, ball fields, shelters, outdoor grills and picnic tables. In addition, there are two playgrounds to keep your kids amused.
For an adventure with your furry friend, be sure to head to the puptown of Marion, which isn’t too far away from Herrin! Here there is plenty of green grass for your canine to roll and roam, as well as space for a game of fetch; your pup will have a ball here! There are also some puptastic amenities that you can use with the whole family. This includes a shelter with picnic tables for a treat, a playground for the kids and restrooms.
