Hi! My name is Tori and I live in Davenport. Growing up I had a beagle/australian shepherd mix named Pepper and she was an amazing dog. She lived to be 18years old. Now I have a beautiful husky named Lana that keeps me on my toes. I have dog sat for family and friends many times with many different types of dogs. I also grew up in a family that everyone had a dog or worked with dogs on a regular bases. I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your pup(s).

Port Byron is a riverside village in Rock Island County, Illinois with a slow-paced lifestyle and friendly people. The local pride – the great Mississippi River – closes off the village from Iowa state and Le Clair on the opposite bank. Almost all the outdoor activities connected to the river. You will find an abundance of wildlife and birds, and you'll also be able to fish in the quiet areas or kayak and paddle to look around. The village features a veterinary clinic, but no dog parks or dog-friendly restaurants.
However, The Great River Trail, a mix of bike lanes, low-traffic rural roads and riverfront trails stretching for more than 60 miles along the Mississippi River, winds through central Port Byron and welcomes you and your leashed pooch to enjoy an adventure! But if you are not in the mood for endless roads and landscapes, Dorrance Park in the heart of Port Byron is a great alternative to the river walk. This public park has some trails to explore, but pooches are advised to stay on-leash.
But if you follow the Great River Trail, it will lead you to Moline, a busy city with an expansive commercial area and Lagomarcino’s Confectionery, an old-fashioned café where you can treat your sweet tooth to a bowl of ice cream.
Villa Park is a neighborhood in South Moline featuring residential quarters. The northern side is outlined by Avenue of the Cities, a busy arterial street with constant traffic, animating the environment and reviving the sleepy surroundings with multiple cafes, shops, and gas stations. The neighborhood is also home to Optimist Park. This is a small neighborhood park with a playground where you can have a walk with your leashed Fido! There's no better way to end your day than with a bowl of ice cold ice cream in Whitney’s Ice Cream on 41st Street, offering shaded outdoor tables where you can share a sweet treat.
Located in the heart of Moline, Park Hill is a home to several parks and recreation areas within walking distance from Uptown and Overlook. Residential quarters occupy the majority of the area, but if you walk along 6th Avenue, you will find Riverside Park, a 55-acre recreational park with multiple sports fields and courts. There're no special places for pooches to have fun or run off-leash, but your furry baby is welcome to join you for a stroll along the lush greenery to the swimming pool and ice rink. Public parks are perfect for picnicking, and there is a shaded pavilion to savor a sandwich with your best furry friend.
Green Valley Park is almost a Disneyland for every outdoor enthusiast in Illinois! Resting on the banks of Rock River in South Moline, the park is surrounded by small and convenient shopping areas with gas stations to welcome newcomers and visitors. Green Valley Park offers a lush environment and a well-shaded area for leisure! The park has a sports complex, a soccer complex, a number of walking trails, and a roomy area of a dog park! Your mischievous buddy can finally run and play off-leash in the designated, 2-acre terrain! The park is clean, features benches, seating and drinking water for canines. Go and make some new friends already!
Avenue of the Cities stretches throughout the southern part of East Moline, eventually bumping into John Deere Road, not far from Greenview Memorial Gardens. This is a lush public park with historical allure and some paved walking trails to walk with Fido and soak up the atmosphere. Why not treat yourself with something really tasty, like a juicy beef sandwich? If this sounds like a good idea, head back west along the street to Maid-Rite Café, an old-fashioned joint with outdoor tables for pooches and friendly staff. Do not forget to ask for a bowl of water for your thirsty mutt!
The central part of Andalusia Road is carefully hidden between three lakes and two recreation areas in the southern part of Rock Island. Originating not far from Milan, the road stretches west and features several pit-stops to fuel yourself with fast food and your car with gasoline. While you're here, you'd be barking mad to miss Hasselroth Park. This extensive green recreation area welcomes your buddy to have some off-leash fun in the designated Eleanor Wallace Dog Park, a pet-friendly enclosure near the creek. There are some locals to play and run with, but you can also bring the old toys and play fetch or exercise with your pup alone!
