West Vaughn Drive
Located at the very border of Kentucky and Indiana, the city of Madison features a nice dog-friendly attraction in the southern part of the area near the shoreline. West Vaughn Drive stretches along the Ohio River, featuring small shops for curious tourists and a huge recreation area for dog owners and their special family members. Madison Riverfront Dog Park is set right next to the shoreline and in front of Lanthier Vinery, and features an extensive fenced area where your pup is welcome to run off-leash. The place is divided into two sections for small and large pooches and has drinking water facilities. You will need to obtain a permit at the city's parks department before visiting.

Downtown Batesville
The town of Batesville is surrounded by a number of green recreation areas, including parks and golf courses, making it a nice quiet, oasis which is protected from the hustle and bustle of I-74 by nature. While you're here, be sure to visit Liberty Park, featuring a huge area for sports activities and picnics, a pond, walking trail and a dog park. Batesville Dog Park is a place of a local pride, with two separate sections for small or shy and big or active pooches to spend some quality off-leash time. The outdoor tables at Lil’ Charlies Restaurant and Brewery welcome your lovely pooch to try out some local delicacies and enjoy the cheerful atmosphere of the city center.

Brown County State Park
Just a 15-minute ride from Nashville, the huge recreation area of Brown County State Park is the pawfect place for you and your pup to make some memories in the great outdoors. Connected to North Fork State Wildlife Refuge and Middle Fork Waterfowl Resting Area by convenient paths which lead to the crystal clear water of Lake Monroe, the park is happy to offer you and your mutt miles of hiking and walking trails to explore! This park has earned the nickname “Little Smokers” because of its resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, as well as its rugged hills, ravines, and ridges. You'll need to bring your own drinking water to this pawesome state park.

West Airport Road
West Airport Road is located on the very western side of Bloomington, right next to Monroe County Airport. The road meets with the busy IN-45, featuring a number of shopping and dining facilities as well as drive-thrus, small stores and gas stations. But just a few steps away from this commercial corner, you will find a place for your mutt to stretch his paws! Karst Farm Park belongs to Bloomington Parks and Recreation areas, but is set significantly close to Kirby. This well-maintained area requires membership to visit and offers a fenced terrain with two separate sections for small and large pooches, lots of grass, plenty of friendly pups and drinking water facilities.

North Stone Millroad
At the very northern end of Bloomington, you will find many small roads near Griffy Lake. North Stone Mill Road is a short street, taking its roots at Stone Mill Road and bumping into North Old State Road 37. This is definitely won't be the first place on a tourist’s itinerary, but it's home to a natural treasure for dog owners! Ferguson Dog Park is tucked between two roads, conveniently remote from the busy and bustling area, making the spot a great retreat to train and play with your pooch. The park has an extensive area for canines to run and romp, as well as shaded spots and benches for owners to relax and cool off for a while. Drinking water facilities are also available.
