Forest Park

The Forest Park neighborhood is a largely residential area with single-family homes. There are some quiet streets here where you can take a walk around the block with your furry pal. For a change of pace, take Fido to William H. Graham Park on Lakeshore Drive. There's a paved trail around the lake that you and your canine companion can use for a jog or stroll. Get some exercise as you circle the water together. Bring a snack to share with your pooch while you're here. Remember to keep your dog on a leash and to clean up his messes.

Green Acres

Green Acres is a remote development in the northeast corner of Scottsburg. Walk along the peaceful roads with your canine companion in this partially wooded neighborhood. When you're looking for a furrific area to go hiking through nature, head to Hardy Lake. This state facility is located about 7.5 miles northeast of here. Wander through the woods, along the area bluff, or around Hardy Lake with your four-footed friend. Dogs can accompany you in most areas of the park as long as they're on a leash no longer than six feet. Bring waste bags to pick up after your pup.

Beechwood Park

The community around Beechwood Park includes single-family homes, a church, and some commercial establishments. You'll be able to go for a stroll through the neighborhood here with your special pal. To treat your pup to a little green space, take him to Beechwood Park. This facility has some open lawn around the athletic fields. Play frisbee in the grass with your fur baby. After getting exercise, enjoy an outdoor meal at one of the picnic areas in the park. You can bring dogs here if you keep them on a leash and under control. Make sure you pick up any droppings.

Willow Shore

Willow Shore is a development with private residences that's located by a lake and a golf course. There are lovely areas to go for a daily walk with your four-footed companion in this neighborhood. When you want to take your pooch for a stroll in the park, head across town to Linza Graham Park off South 5th Street. This facility has a few softball diamonds and some open lawn. Take some time to walk around the park or work on obedience here. Dogs can join you here if they're on a leash and under control. Bring waste bags with you when you visit.

Amberly Pointe

The Amberly Pointe neighborhood in southwest Scottsburg is an area with single-family dwellings. Here, you can go for a walk or jog along country roads with your canine companion. To share a picnic in the park, take your pup to Nichols Wilson Park off Community Way. This facility includes a ball field and open space. Bring your frisbee and play in the grass with your special pal. Take a few laps on the paved pathway that circles the park. Dogs on a leash can accompany you here as long as you keep them under control and pick up after them.
