Kristin was right on time and our pup came home happy from his walk with her. She kept us updated and gave him one of his favorite treats when they got back. We re so glad to have met someone who cares for our little guy so well!

Purgatory Chasm State Reservation

Purgatory Chasm State Reservation

A mere five miles from Northbridge, you and your adventurous dog can go visit Purgatory Chasm State Reservation. It’s believed that the natural formations here were actually formed during the last ice age. That’s 14,000 years ago! The trail runs between huge pieces of granite that seem to tower ominously above, but the rocks are secure. Park officials recommend that you wear hiking boots for the trek, and your dog absolutely, pawsitively must be on his leash while you’re exploring. It’s for his own safety; you wouldn’t want your dog falling while checking everything out. Don't forget to bring the waste bags!

This bark park has plenty of space for your dog to get some off-leash exercise and play with his new friends. You will want to bring along some waste bags, as none are provided by the park. Seating is available for dog owners.
