Lockhouse Road
Grab your pup and head out to the Westfield Dog Park for an amazing day off leash. This beautiful fenced in dog park is located in a wooded area of Westfield, and features great amenities like shade, some agility equipment, waste station areas, and a water station. The park offers picnic tables and benches for owners to sit on and relax while pups socialize with new friends. If your dog isn't feeling the dog park, right outside of the park there is a nice walking path that the two of you can use that will lead to a small pond.36

Downtown Westfield (Downtown)
Head out to Allen Park for a great walk through this 11 acre area. The park is known for the formal flowers that are found throughout it and the half acre garden. The park offers a nice walking path and some grass, but make sure Fido stays on a leash while visiting. Grab a bite to eat at Two Rivers Burrito Co with your dog by your side. They dish out burritos, tacos, and salads that you can enjoy with their delicious margaritas. Mama Cakes is a tasty bakery that serves cupcakes, cake pops, and ice cream that your pup will want a lick of. Both of these delicious restaurants offer dog friendly patios that your pup can sit at with you.24

Park River/ Granville Road
Stanley Park is a beautiful 300-acre park that your dog will be dying to visit with you. The park offers great amenities like gardens, playing fields, a picnic area, and places for performances. There are trails and wooded areas that you and your pup can check out, but make sure to keep Fido on a leash while visiting. Your pup will love the Duck Pond and seeing all the animals in the wildlife sanctuary, but pay attention to signage because there are a few areas that the two of you can't visit. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you to this great park.12

Feeding Hills Road/ N West Street
Take a hike along the New England Trail which offers 3.69-miles of hiking fun. The hike has a 580-foot elevation gain, perfect for first time hikes and their pups. The path will take you through the Robinson State Park which is a beautifully wooded area your pup will love exploring, plus the Westfield River flows right through it, perfect for cooling off. Make sure your pup stays on leash the entire time you are visiting since there are certain areas of the park you aren't allowed in.
