If you are looking for wide open spaces to escape the hubbub of city life, look no further than the neighboring Georgetown Charter Township. Just beyond the residential quarters of the Riverview neighborhood runs the Grand River, where you can take Fido for a stroll. You will reach the Bend Area, where dogs can run off-leash year round in the open space. Just be cautious to keep your leash handy at all times. The Bend Area offers 188 acres of wooded land, which is pawfect for pups who love to hike. Another great option that’s just a paw away is Grand Ravines South Dog Park, which features 21 acres of enclosed areas and trails where your pup can roam off-leash for miles.
