Take a hike along the Piper Hammond Loop Trail with Fido by your side. The trail is 8.1-miles in distance with a 2,791-foot elevation gain and in a loop style route. The trail will take you through the White Mountain National Forest where you will see a beautiful waterfall while you hike. The trail is known to be a little difficult, so make sure to take breaks and bring water along for you and your pup. The best thing about this trail is Fido doesn't have to be on a leash while you hike it.

While hiking, you will be shaded by plenty of trees, and will even walk along a river. The great thing about this trail is your dog does not have to be on a leash when you're using it, but remember there is wildlife on the trail, so keep an eye on Fido. Don't forget to bring clean-up bags along with you to the park.

    Take Fido out on a  great hike along the Champney Falls Trail. This great trail offers a 3.1-mile distance with a 682-foot elevation gain and an out and back route type, perfect for beginner hikers.  The hike takes you along the Swift River and through the White Mountain National Forest where you will get an amazing view of a waterfall. The trail tends to be bust since it is one of the easier ones in the mountains, and your dog does not need to be on a leash while you hike, so make sure Fido is up for company when you are out exploring.

    Head out to the South Moat Mountain Trail for a great hike with your furry pal. This pawsome trail offers a 5-mile hike with a 2,103- elevation gain, on an out and back route. You and Fido will hike through the White Mountain National Forest where you will be surrounded by wildflowers while you explore. For half of the hike, you and your dog will be surrounded by beautiful trees that help provide shade, but make sure to bring water since the other half is not shaded, and it can get hot. The terrain on this hike can be rocky, so make sure to check Fido's paws occasionally while you are out.
