Jackson Falls
If you’re searching for a beautiful place to hike with your dog in Jackson, head to Jackson Falls. This famous natural site welcomes dogs on-leash, and it has a short trail you can hike on with your dog. At the end of the trail, you’ll reach Jackson Falls. Here, you can go for a swim in the pool at the base of the falls. Bring water and doggy bags, and have a furrific time here! If you’re hungry after your walk, head to Wildcat Inn & Tavern. This restaurant welcomes dogs in their lovely outdoor garden, and they serve delicious seafood dishes, burgers, steaks, and more.

Harts Location
Crawford Notch State Park is another pawesome place to spend the day hiking with your dog. Located 20 miles from Jackson, this 5,775-acre park welcomes dogs on-leash. If you want to hike to a beautiful 100-foot high waterfall, try the short and scenic Ripley Falls Trail. Or, if you want to go on a longer cliffside hike, check out the Webster Cliff Trail. You can also stroll around a pond on the Pond Loop Trail, or you can hike along a river on the Saco River Trail. No matter which trail you choose, you and your dog are sure to have fun here!

North Conway
When you’re in North Conway, you won’t want to miss Schouler Park. This park is about 8.5 miles from Jackson, and it allows dogs on-leash. While you’re here, you and your dog can stroll through the park’s scenic manicured garden, and you can also go for runs together on the park’s huge open field. Bring doggy bags and water, and have fun at this park. If you want to get your dog a special treat after the park, head to Four Your Paws Only. This local pet boutique sells freshly baked dog treats, and they also have lots of dog toys. Your dog will pawsitively love shopping here!

Observatory Way
Located five miles from Jackson, Trails in the Wood is a unique place to take your dog for an on-leash walk. One of the most popular trails in the park is the Storybook Trail. As you go along this 0.5-mile forest trail, you’ll pass signs that tell a classic story. If you’d like to go on a slightly longer hike, try the Winnie’s Wandering Trail, which takes you past the Saco River. Or, you can hop on the Sugar Shack Trail, which takes you by a shack used to make maple syrup. You and your dog will both have fun at this furrific park!

West Side Road
This Bartlett neighborhood is home to Diana’s Baths, which is the pawfect place to hike with your dog if you're looking to sniff out some more natural wonders! Located about 9.5 miles from Jackson, this 1.3-mile out-and-back trail takes you through a peaceful forest. At the end of the trail, you’ll reach Diana’s Baths themselves. This natural site includes a series of pools and small cascading waterfalls — the perfect place to go for a swim with your dog after your hike. Bring doggy bags and water for you and your dog, and have a pawesome time exploring this fascinating scenic area!
