Located just minutes north of Englishtown, the Big Brook neighborhood boasts a pawtacular dog park—the Marlboro Dog Park at Municipal Complex—where Fido will undoubtedly make lots of barking good pals! This lovely fenced-off puppy play area invites all doggoes, small or big, to come roam and romp with other canines and hoomans. Make sure to follow park rules to ensure no dog fights breakout among the pooches. This dog park is spacious, nice and clean, loved by the locals, and is a favorite among the doggoes, too! 

Manalapan South

The Manalapan South neighborhood in Manalapan Township offers doggoes a howlin' good surprise and is a furtacular way to spend the day with Fido. Why? The Manalapan Dog Park, of course! This dog park at Thompson Grove Park will be the highlight of your pup's stay near Englishtown, thanks to its pawtastic set-up and furiendly canines who frequent the park! The doggie park is split into two sections to comfortably accommodate both small and large pups (over/under 25 lbs) which ensures the well-being and fun had by all. Make sure to bring extra water for hot days and don't forget the doggie waste bags at home.

Raintree

Wag to the quaint Raintree neighborhood in West Freehold for more wooftacular treats and eats. Kickstart your lunch with a pawtastic guacamole appetizer at the Escondido Mexican cantina. Dog-friendly tables are outdoors, where you and Fido are invited to munch on tacos, fajitas, quesadillas and other classic Mexican delights. Go on weekends to test your chances at Escondido's trivia! Finish off your meal with a frozen treat at the Yo Mon Yogurt shop, located just next door to Escondido. Be a health nut and order a delicious acai bowl or make your own yogurt by choosing from a variety of flavors, including raspberry sorbet, dark chocolate, honeydew, and more!

Freehold Boro West

The Freehold Boro West neighborhood in Freehold is also a pawpular place for pups and humans to hang out and grab a bite to eat when in and around Englishtown. Visit the Aarzu Modern Indian bistro, which really lives up to its name. Serving classic Indian-style food with a modern twist, this eatery offers you and your pup the chance to dive in muzzle first into a plate of unique veg and non-veg entrees. Outdoor tables offer customers a lovely street view of Freehold's Main Street. After your meal, stop by the Cafe 360 to mark the end of the meal with a fresh cup of coffee or a sweet treat. Doggoe-friendly seating is available outdoors, or take your treats with you if you're on the go.

Battleground

The Battleground neighborhood in neighboring Manalapan Township is the pawfect place to visit for pups who love to discover State Parks. The Monmouth Battle State Park offers a barking good time for history buffs and explorers. Pups are welcome to visit the grounds with you and hike the park trails that span the whole of the park's 1,800+ acres!  What's more, this historic park features a Revolutionary War battlefield and immersive visitor's center, although doggoes are not allowed inside buildings. Don't worry, if your feet and paws get tired from walking, you can just set up under a shady tree and read a book or enjoy a snack with your bud.
