There are a couple of parks in the neighborhood worth checking out, such as the historic Ackerson Park, with its sports facilities, playground and open grassy fields. Telegraph Hill Park is not too far away, and this neighborhood park is home to a couple of fields, a wide paved walking path that loops its way around the fields, and dense woodland that surrounds the walking path. When visiting this park, don't forget to stop off at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which sits just across the road from the park.

Centerville

This is where the 11 acre Allocco Park is located, which is known for being one of the most scenic parks in Holmdel. The Waackaack Creek runs along one side of the park, providing a whole new habitat, meaning that the park is able to host quite a few botanical species, including Willow Oak, Mountain Laurel and Sweet Gum.
