Middletown, NJ, is a little over five miles from Keansburg and is the home of the pawpular Sandy Hook, a beautiful beach that allows dogs to join their owners on-leash to prowl around in the sand or splash in the water of the Jersey shore. Just a few miles south from there is Rumson, which has a church that offers a pet-friendly service twice a month!
