This fenced-off dog park is 1.2 acres in size, with 0.8 acres for larger dogs and 0.4 acres for smaller dogs. Both sections have play and exercise equipment within them, and at the entrance to the park is a dog washing area, as well as doggie water fountains.

Directly adjacent to Glen Ridge is the Montclair South End neighborhood of Montclair, where you will find a couple of parks that your pooch will love. Less than a mile from Glen Ridge is Marcgero in West Orange, a neighborhood that provides access to one of the finest parks in the area. The Eagle Rock Reservation extends out for 408 acres, and sits along the Watchung Mountains ridge line. As you can imagine, there are some incredible views to be had from this park, which can be enjoyed from the park's numerous picnic areas. When it comes to dog walks, the longest one within this park is the Lenape Trail, which is 40 miles long and runs along the eastern edge of the park. About a mile from Glen Ridge is the Watsessing Park neighborhood of Bloomfield, and this is an area that your pooch will really love. Here you will find the 69 acre Watsessing Park, which is home to several different sports fields, a playground, a meandering, tree-shaded walking path and beautiful waterfront views.
