Erin is an exceptional dog walker! Your pup is in great hands while in Erin s care :) My dog is a husky mix that is full of energy and a whole lot of spirit. He has a love/hate relationship with squirrels and can at times be a handful. Erin is able to manage my handsome boi s spirit and offer him an excellent experience while being looked after by her!

Downtown Verona (Downtown)

Downtown Verona (Downtown)

Verona Park is an absolute mutts-visit! The park is a popular spot for wedding photographs, and it’s easy to see why- the ornamental bridge over the serene, man made lake is stunning, and the mature trees and well maintained gardens just add to the picture. The one mile loop trail around the lake is well frequented by local dog owners, so you and your buddy might make some friends on your walk! Afterwards, you two can chow down at Avenue Bistro Pub. This local gem serves up a seriously special steak sandwich, and wagging tails are welcome outside.Keep reading

Verona North Side (North Side)

Verona North Side (North Side)

Sat on right on the border of Verona and Caldwell, Hilltop Reservation is right in your backyard -- so you’d be barking mad not to check it out! Hilltop is a nice hike at any time of the year, but the preserve is at its best in fall, when the natural New Jersey forest bursts into a blaze of bright color. The trails here are best for a nice, short hike -- the longest is just under two miles -- and most don’t have an incline, making a trip here an accessible day out for pooches of all ages and abilities. Remember to bring bags and water!

Eagle Rock Reservation

Eagle Rock Reservation

At 400 acres, Eagle Rock Reservation isn’t the largest preserve in the area, but it’s still a pawfect place for you and your pup to get back to nature! Like the trails in Hilltop Reservation, the paths here are scenic, well-shaded, and accessible to beginners, although they're a little long for inexperienced hikers. Eagle Rock has one big advantage though -- it’s known for its breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. In addition, the yellow trail runs all the way back to Verona Park! Be sure to bring bug spray, or you and your pooch will be scratching all the way home!

Upper Montclair

Upper Montclair

No bones about it, a trip to Brookdale Dog Park is sure to get your furry friend’s tail wagging! There’s enough space here for even the most energetic pooch to leap about to their heart's content. The park has three areas -- one for small dogs, one for large dogs, and one for pups who need a bit of time to calm down. Both the small and large dog areas have their own doggy agility equipment, so fitter four-legged pals are guaranteed a thorough and entertaining workout! Bags and water are provided, so just bring your buddy and prepare to play.
Watsessing Park

Watsessing Park

If you and your pooch are looking for a little variety in your off-leash activities, why not check out Watsessing Park Dog Run? The dog park isn’t quite as large the one in Montclair, but there’s still plenty of room to run around in, or for a spirited game of catch or tug-of-war. There’s a separate small dog area, so your pup can play and socialize no matter their size, and the park has recently added a doggy obstacle course! Tired owners are sure to appreciate the ample seating, and waste bags and drinking water are both provided by the park.
