Brookdale Park

Fido gives two paws up for the Brookdale Dog Park off West Circuit Drive. The fenced park includes areas for smaller or shy pups, and larger dogs. Puppy parents can also relax on the shaded benches and chat while their pups sniff butts and get to know each other. If you head over to the park in the morning, stop by Hot Bagels Abroad and enjoy some breakfast at the dog-friendly tables. Visiting the park in the afternoon gives you the opportunity to stop by Rita’s Italian Ice for an ice cream cone.

Brookdale Gardens

Quiet and peaceful, the Clark Pond Park on Clair Street is perfect when you want to get away and spend quality time with your pup. You can walk along the nature path and admire the plants and animals, or set up a chair next to the pond and try to catch some fish. Fido will enjoy rolling around in the grass while you both enjoy a cool drink of water. The Tot-lot and lighted tennis courts are also convenient if the kids want to play. Just remember to bring your own water bottles and poop bags.

Pulaski Park

When searching for a safe place to walk your pup at night, Pulaski Park offers lighted tennis courts where you can walk laps around the perimeter and give Fido some exercise. Over six-acres of land is perfect to spend time with your pooch while he has a snifftastic time in the grass and plants. The kids can play on the Tot-lot while the teens play tennis or basketball, and Fido chases a ball.
