Asbury Park City Center

Asbury Park is just north of Ocean Grove, which means it is only a short distance away for a day out with your four-legged friend. For a real treat, check out the Wonder Bar Yappy Hour! This is a puptastic spot where you can grab a drink and something to eat while your pup has a pawsome time in the fenced outdoor area. There is space to roam, as well as swimming pools and an agility area for more active pooches. They are sure to have a ball! If you love donuts, don’t forget to visit Purple Glaze when you are in the area. Here you can grab a sweet treat and sit with your dog at one of the outdoor tables.

Memorial Dr/ Springwood Ave

Less than a mile away from Ocean Grove, you will find the puptown of Asbury Park. This is a puptastic place to visit and enjoy some delicious food while your furry friend joins you. For lunch, check out the Speakeatery, which serves up pawsome sandwiches with some inventive names, such as Roast Beast and Angry Al Capone! There are three dog friendly tables where your pooch can sit and relax with you. If you love coffee, be sure to head to America’s Cup Coffee Company. Here you can enjoy premium roasts, as well as sweet treats, at one of the outdoor tables, and your pup can grab a nap right beside you!

Deal Lake Dr/ 8th Ave

If you head north for a few miles into Asbury Park, there is special place for a day out with your pooch; the Eighth Avenue Dog Beach! Here your pup can enjoy the feeling of sand beneath their paws and splash in the water, as well as take a leisurely stroll with you onto the Asbury Park Boardwalk, just be sure your pup remains on leash. While there are stores nearby, it is best to bring some water for the beach with your pup. When you are in town, you can also explore Sunset Lake. Here you can wander around the lake and let your furry friend enjoy this lovely area.

Bradley Park

Bradley Park is a furiendly neighborhood right next to Ocean Grove in Neptune. Here you can visit pawsome dog friendly eateries for some delicious food and quality time with your pup. This includes the Buttered Biscuit Café, where you can tuck into some tasty Crumb Cake or other light bites. There are several outdoor tables on the sidewalk where you can chill out with your pooch and watch the world go by. For some dinner, check out the Citricos Mediterranean Italian Grille. You can choose pasta, seafood or even try the Tour of Italy at one of the dog friendly tables with your furry friend.
