Central Las Cruces
Las Cruces is a little under 27 miles north of Anthony, New Mexico. The Central Las Cruces neighborhood has quite a few paw-friendly restaurants of all types, like the Corner Bakery Café, which serves up every meal of the day and lets you and your pup dine together on the outdoor patio. Cattle Baron Steak and Seafood is another pupular place to try, which claims to have some of the best steak and seafood dishes in the area! And if you’re looking for some fun in Las Cruces, you can always head to the Las Cruces Dog Park, an off-leash park with plenty of room for Rover to run.

Northwest El Paso
About 21.6 miles from Anthony is good old El Paso, Texas’ Northwest neighborhood. Here, you can have some outdoor fun with Fido at the Westside Dog Park at Don Haskins Community Center. The spacious area has separate spots for small and large dogs and a water fountain to keep him cool as he plays. You can also try out some of Texas’ finest foods in the area, like the unique southern dishes at Ripe, a restaurant with outdoor seating that welcomes dogs. If you’re a health food nut, try Tippi Teas for some organic lattes and smoothies and enjoy the outdoor scenery on the patio with your pup.

Central El Paso
Central El Paso is about 25 miles from Anthony, New Mexico. Home to the University of Texas El Paso, this neighborhood offers plenty of dog-friendly eateries with just about any type of food you and your pooch want to sink your teeth into. Ode Brewing Company is a good, casual spot to stop with your dog for a refreshing cold beer made from local ingredients. Café Central will have you going mutts for its fine dining menu featuring American favorites with bistro inspiration, like fried calamari and lobster ravioli. If you’re out on a quick run with your pooch, stop by Potbelly Sandwich Shop for a hot or cold sandwich and a relaxing break at an outdoor, paw-friendly table.

Album Park in El Paso is a little over 32 miles from Anthony, near the eastern side of the city. This neighborhood is home to the park of the same name, which has its own dog park located within its grounds, known as Eastwood Dog Park. The fully fenced park gives your dog a chance to play and socialize unleashed, and even has some fun agility equipment for extra exercise! You can also spend the day with your dog at Album Park itself, provided that he’s on his leash and cleaned up after. Hungry? Head to Coco.Miel, a pizzeria that lets dogs eat with their owners at the outdoor patio tables.
East Side El Paso
About 37 miles from Anthony is the East Side neighborhood of El Paso, Texas. Here, Pebble Hills Dog Park is sure to delight your furry friend, giving him three full acres of play space to let out some energy and enjoy the fresh air. There’s also an obstacle course here for dogs who want a bit of a challenge during play time! When you’re done playing, check out Bahama Buck’s, a great place to grab an ice cream and other cold treats to beat the hot Texas sun. You can sit outside with your pooch to enjoy your treats at one of the dog-friendly tables.
